RS485 Serial Port

The GW102 gateway provides two RS485 communication serial ports, U4 and U6, both with electrically isolated designs. They are located at terminal J25, and the first 6 signals are RS485.

Each RS485 serial port has three wiring terminals. The silkscreen descriptions are as follows:

Software Devices The two RS485-level serial ports provided by the gateway correspond to the following device nodes in the Linux system:

  • Silkscreen U4, Linux device /dev/ttymxc3
  • Silkscreen U6, Linux device /dev/ttymxc5
